Euro 6 News Article Catalytic Support Systems

We all know that the European standard Euro 6 was implemented in September 2015 in order to lower emissions and regulate the levels of Nitrogen Oxide, Carbon Monoxide, hydrocarbons and particulate matter that is generated from van and car exhaust emissions. This is an issue that Catalytic Support Systems Ltd. feels passionately about, as it is promoting sustainability and helping to save our planet. Euro 6 states that petrol emissions should comply to: CO – 1.0 g/km HC – 0.10 g/km NOx – 0.06 g/km PM – 0.005 g/km (direct injection only) PM – 6.0×10 ^11/km (direct injection only) … and that diesel emissions should comply with: CO – 0.50 g/km HC + NOx – 0.17 g/km NOx – 0.08 g/km PM – 0.005 g/km PM – 6.0×10 ^11/km It also states that heavy-duty C1 vehicles should comply to: CO – 1.5 g/kWh HC – 0.13 g/kWh NOx – 0.40 g/kWh PM – 0.01 g/kWh PN – 8.0×1011 1/kWh Although Euro 6 requires all new cars, vans and trucks produced after September 2015 to meet these regulations, it will also be possible, if wanted, to retrofit vehicles produced before this date to also comply with the Euro 6 standards. Catalytic Support Systems have multiple products available to meet these requirements, which have all proved to be a great success. If you would like to hear more information about how CSS are helping automotive manufacturers to meet the Euro 6 requirements, or would like to ask us about our available products, then please call us today on 01928 566...

Site Expansions

When the Knitwire Group first moved over to Runcorn 15 years ago, we instantly expanded our new factory by 50% in order to ensure that we had enough room for all of our production equipment. We never thought that we would be looking towards another expansion, yet here we are! Having outgrown our original expansion, we are now expanding our factory by a further 1/3rd of its current size! The growing doesn’t stop there, however, as we are also building a further 5 offices, a new board room and are currently in the middle of building 8 new knitting machines to work on new projects for Catalytic Support Systems, with a further 18 scheduled to be built after these! There is a bright future ahead for the Knitwire Group and we hope to see the company continue to...
